DescriptionEngraver's T-squares, model 2060-8, made by Keuffel & Esser Co., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1900-1936. Steel 8" blade with hang hole; brass head 4-7/8" wide. Marking on blade is Keuffel & Esser Co., New York with model number. K&E had its factory in Hoboken and after 1907 also its general offices. Up until the 37th edition catalog of 1928 this specialty t-square was offered in five sizes including the eight inch one here. From 1928 to 1935 only the 8 and 12 inch ones were offered. With the 38th edition catalog of 1936 only a 12 inch model was sold. Typical depiction found on page 222 of 1909 33rd edition catalog.
