Greyscale Illustration of 1120 Garden St., by Kevin McCloskey, circa 1986
Drawing
McCloskey details the storied history of this building, complete with two young boys standing next to the doorway. McCloskey pays special attention to the ornate ironwork of the fence surrounding the building, excavating work resembling a heart. The detail-work of the staircase leading up to the front door is also masterful, as highlighted in the depiction of railing and doorstep.
