Mailing envelope for videotape, A Walk through Hoboken with David Hartman and Barry Lewis, plus two enclosures, distributed by the City of Hoboken in association with the Hoboken Historical Museum, January, 2004. (The 2003 VHS video cassette is in the photo catalog, 2003.007.0005.)
Mailing of ca. 11,000 copies to local residents of the video originally produced by WNET 13, New York. Purchase and distribution of copies funded by SJP Properties and the Port of New York and New Jersey. Done under the aegis of the Museum with an appeal for recipients to join the Museum as members.
Tyvek envelope, 6-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" high, printed one-side, with a full-length portrait of Mayor David Roberts and a greeting from him.
Enclosures (besides video cassette):
-facsimile signed, printed letter, 6" x 11" high, folded once, from the Office of the Mayor (with a head portrait of Roberts) with a list of City Council members; also lists the names of sponsors of the gift, SJP Properties and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, along with the Museum's oval logo.
-printed return envelope soliciting Museum membership.
All texts remind the recipient of the forthcoming 150th Anniversary of the City of Hoboken in 2005.
