In the far background is the Erie Freight Terminal in Jersey City. On the east side of the street is a sign for Fred's Tavern which according to a 1951 telephone directory was at 16 Patterson Avenue. Photograph originally on an album leaf with 10 b+w photos of drum & bugle corps, Hoboken, 1949-1950. Album belongs to Jack O'Brien. Photographer(s) not indicated. This image was bottom right on the 1950 side of the album leaf. Although this print was apparently printed from a different batch than the others in this album group (different look and border), it may be from the same event as those images.
