Photographer probably donor Mel Kiernan or family. Reverse is blank. The view is looking northwest. Note the drainage pipes at the top right coming down the cliff face from Stevens Institute of Technology. As of 2005 these pipes were still in place. According to the donor: in the hole at the center which was once the entrance to the cave, small remnants of the Gothic-style portal are present. cf. photo catalog 2005.012.0002 and .0003 for photos taken at the same time of the interior in which some of the architectural remains can be seen.
