Top left and right: Christmas Carols at St. Mary's Hospital, Dec. 16, 1950. Views of scouts and patients inside hospital. Middle and bottom photos: Christmas Dinner, Dec. 10, 1950. Views inside Scout house at 916 Garden St. Tables with food, Christmas tree next to fireplace, two woman in gift ceremony. Back: 8 newclippings from 1931 except one from 1932, mostly troop activity reports. Of note-- Top left: All Girl Scouts in Kermess, 1931. Kermess was the spring festival which included international costumes and dances. Girl Scout band performed. Top center "Circus" Comes to Hoboken, Girl Scouts Are Performers", Hudson Dispatch, June 13, 1932 re Scout event at Waldheim-Stevens Forum, but it was not an actual circus.

Notes: Information about who assembled and captioned the materials is not indicated. The brittle condition of the mounting leaves and newsclippings has led to the loss of some captioning or printed text. A few original photographs that have detached from some leaves were mounted with paste and have typewritten general information about the image including reference to a negative number (no negatives are present in this archive.) At some future time, the de-mounting of the photos will be necessary due to the continuing deterioration of the album paper. Information on the reverse will be documented.
