Photographed by Bill McCallister for newspaper, Hudson Dispatch. Regiban may be misidentified. It is likely it was Charles F. Kaegebehn (see photo detail in archives catalog 2005.079.0005). The front has the word "Duke" at the bottom written in holographic script with a black grease pencil. Reverse has the photographer's ink stamp plus contemporary pencil remark: Ret to Mayor Fred DeSapio c/o City Hall Hoboken. Also modern holographic ink identification by Dr. Gerard DeSapio: Charles Regiban (on right). The ceremony with the Hudson Trust Company check being passed is not decribed. Suits and ties suggest it isin the late 1940's. The man at the left has not been identified.
