Scope and ContentArticle from Harper's Weekly, circa July - August 1900: "Two Disastrous Fires in New York Harbor." Article is pages 646 and 647 from two leaves which are pages 645-46, 647-48. 11" x 15-3/4" The bulk of the text on page 646 is about the June 30th waterfront fire that destroyed several piers and vessels plus there were many deaths. Page 647 has six photographs of the event. The other fire shown with one photo and reported in one paragraph at the end was an oil tank fire on Staten Island.
