The view is of the western facade of Stevens Castle on Castle Point.
The men and boys are in the military uniform of the Stevens Regiment or Battalion and stand behind the Holy Innocents Corps members who are all seated or kneeling. Note a woman, not identified, seated in a chair on the porch to the left. Also an unidentified man in suit with hat is in the center portico. The view is of the western facade of Stevens Castle on Castle Point.
