This was an early menu of the business now known as Biggie's Clam Bar. Founded in 1946 by Joseph "Biggie" Yaccarino. The cover is handwritten and the menu is hand titled: "Biggie's Menu." Not stated, but it was at 318 Madison St. The simple typewritten menu of eight items included: Clams on the 1/2 shell 40 cents Sausage Sandwich 25 cents Grilled Hot Dog 15 cents Steamed Hot Dog 10 cents Cube Steak Sandwich 25 cents Ice Cold Watermelon 5 cents & 10 cents Pepper & [handwritten] Onion Sandwich 15 cents Corn 10 & 15 cents Lined out: "Ask for What You Don't See."
