Two examples with same engraving on front but with varying text under each. The certificate was for a monthly contribution of ten cents or larger. It has a blank line for the holder's name to be entered; both copies here are blank. Also, if the certificate was used it was to be stamped with the seal of the church; both are blind stamped. See 2007.047.0003 and .0004 for differing examples from 1881 and 1882. Society organized at the request of Bishop Corrigan who is also listed at the bottom: P. Corrigan, Pastor, 170 Willow St., Hoboken. The varying front text suggests these cards were created as a set and likely as twelve in the set.
