License expires Dec. 31, 1954. 6-1/2" high x 8-5/8" wide. Principe whose residence was also 416 Clinton Street, was selling presumably from a cart or a shop his own Italian ices or gelati. The form was folded and worn from repeated use. Note the top two printed lines and the lines above the City Clerk's (Arthur Malone) signature are "X"ed out: "The Board of Commissioners of." The Commission form of local government ended in 1953.
