Photographer not indicated, probably Helen Manogue or family member. Reverse has holographic ink notation: # 16, 6th + Jackson. See photo 2006.042.0134 for view of vicinity where sign was located. The round sign for the Police pound has "pound" mis-spelled as "pond." From a series of 20 images of Hoboken scenes taken as part of documentation for the Hoboken Environment Committee and used for promotion of a program called "Care Dammit! I Do. Sweep Up, Clean Up, Shape Up Hoboken." The prints were numbered 1 to 20 (matching the 35mm negative numbers) with print no. 19 missing. That print has been replaced by a digital print from the negatives. Series is in photo catalogue 2006.042.0120 to .0139.
