The Wavertree, belonging to the South Street Seaport Museum and on the National Register of Historic Places, arrived at the shipyard for work that ran until August 1981. See photo catalog 2008.062.0100 to .0102 for photos of the vessel and the some of the work.
Also reports on the discussions between the City of Hoboken and the American Maritime Academy about arranging for a vessel to be manned by Hoboken firemen for waterfront fires.
