Plated metal tag, oval 3/4" high x 1-5/16" long, with 3/16" hole at left end; stamped with eagle at at top edge and a store name below - A. Lamprecht, 400 Wash'n [Washington] St., Hoboken, N.J. Although the back is blank - not the common text usually put there such as "If found, please drop in mail" - the tags were often used for such a purpose.
