This item is from the papers of the Kostelecky family, 218 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken. While not produced in Hoboken, it is an example of a typical item found in a home of the period when it was produced. Copyrighted in 1941 and as a promotional publication for Lysol, an antiseptic solution, it is presumed to have been issued in that year. It has a patriotic theme to it even though the United States did not enter World War II until December. It takes note of the war in Europe and the support of Britain (see page [2]) where there is a photo: "Ambulance presented by Lehn & Fink Products Corporation in London through the American Volunteer Ambulance Service Corps."
