Scope and ContentHolographic letter from W.L.E. Keuffel, Supt., Keuffel & Esser Co., Hoboken to Board of Water Commissioners, Hoboken, Feb. 8, 1887 re charges and meter testing. Three leaves engraved letterhead, 7-5/8" x 11" high. Signature on page 3 is probably not Keuffel's. The document is most notable in that all three leaves are the fancy letterhead with a vignette of the Hoboken, N.J. factories. It also records, "Factories at Hoboken, N.J. and Berlin, Germany." It has datelines for New York and Berlin, this one is datelined 'Hoboken.' The New York office address is not found on the heading nor is the address of the factory. It does have a New York postal box and cable address.
