The 57 digital images were taken in 2007 to document the exterior only of the building which is on the National Register of Historic Places (see notes.) Images are numbered 1 to 57; archived TIFFs. A reference guide with thumbnail images as captioned and dated by the photographer is available; hardcopy and copies as PDF and MS-Word document on file.
Note that the captioned description in the photographer's notes had some errors which have been corrected in the captions in this record. Also descriptions will vary from the photographer's notes among them that they use facade location rather than left to right as a location guide.
Located at 86-98 Washington Street (often found listed as 94 Washington St. as a mail address), it occupies the an entire block bounded by Washington Street on the east, Bloomfield Street on the west, Newark Street on the south and First Street on the north. Erected in 1881 (architect was Francis George Himpler of Hoboken) with major reconstruction in 1911.
