Hospital charges would be paid by the City of Hoboken. Cases were cancelled as the line "When Discharged" is blank. Below that line is "This voucher to be returned with bill to Overseer of the Poor." This voucher was with an envelope labeled "Sick & Indigent Poor" "Canceled Cases." See archives 2010.010.0067 for a 1909 voucher that was also a cancelled case.
