View is from an apartment above street level, apparently 1212 Washington Street, looking at a parade heading north on Washington Street. The Elysian Apartments (Yellow Flats) are in the background. The initial float appears to be a coffin on a flatbed truck with a person dressed as the devil or a vampire throwing candy to children. This truck was followed by a band, a bagpipe corps, a horse unit and some other floats.
