Most of the footage was taken from near the 1300 block of Hudson Street looking in various directions including some elevated views from an apartment building in that block. It would appear that the footage was shot on at least two different days as some scenes are sunlit and others are cloudy. Also note that Pier 1 of the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard as seen in video captures 06 and 17 has a vessel berthed there in the earlier scene, 06, and the vessel is gone in the later view. The amount of snow which appears to be near 2 feet and more in drifts suggests that it was a blizzard. In this period there were major snowstorms that hit Hoboken with snow accumulations at that level in 1969 and 1978. The automobiles models seen suggest 1978. Includes several scenes of people shoveling snow, scraping windshields, digging out buried cars and pushing cars; children climbing on snow piles and playing in the snow with mothers including a few snowballs being thrown. Some of the buildings seen include apartment buildings on the west side of Hudson Street from Twelfth to Fourteeth Streets; Bethlehem Steel Shipyard Machine Shop as well as other buildings on that site including their Pier 1 with cranes; Maxwell House Coffee plant building (building 5) at 12th & Hudson; the north side of Thirteenth Street including the YMCA as well as a view of the former Lipton Tea building.
