Notes: Issue date derived from several points: the Los Angeles branch (established 1939) listed and that the company used the salmon color covers through the 1940s; the griffin trademark (back cover) was used (while the company changed in 1942 to a new logo, publications such as this would often lag behind); the old style page layout is present; inside back cover has ad for Engineer's Transit N5060FS which is illustrated (by the 40th edition catalog of 1944, the 'N' was no longer part of the model number.)
