CANADA August 30, 1945. TO ALL KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. EMPLOYEES On August 6th, 1941, Keuffel & Esser Co, was among the first fourteen companies in the entire United States to receive the initial award from the U. S. Navy for excellence in production. Other successive renewals of this award have been made in recognition of continued achievement. The company now announces with pride, receipt of a letter giving K & E the seventh Army-Navy award for continued outstanding industrial war production. This latest award adds another star to our pennant, making six in all. The officers of the company wish to extend their thanks to all employees for the fine cooperation and loyal effort which resulted in this outstanding patriotic achievement. We may all be justly proud of our notable contribution to the victory which is now ours. It is inherent in the K & E spirit that the same excellent record be maintained in the production of materials for the peace years which lie ahead. KEUFFEL & ESSER CO.
