Photograph taken by Steve Rubin (name "S. Rubin" on back.) Captioned on back. The two firemen are not identified. Although the main business sign at top is covered with other decor and obscured by smoke, the telephone number, 659-4555, could be transcribed from two different signs. Telephone directory shows that this was Roosevelt Auto & Boat Sales at 558 Newark Street, Hoboken. Although identified as Observer and Monroe, the photo may have been another side of the company's lot even though the doorway just in front of the firemen says "Entrance" above it. Photograph is one of several in this accession that were discarded file photos considered or used for publication in The Hoboken Reporter newspaper from circa 1983-1988.
