Photographer not indicated, presumably a member of the Craig family. Reverse has notes in ink and pencil: Willow Ave. Between 1st & 2nd, August 1942. A ceremony was held on the street in front of an italian and french bakery at 122 Willow Ave. The event is not described in greater detail, but it is likely to be service flags or victory banners that commemorated Hoboken armed forces members. Craig and niece of Edward Craig of 409 Washington Street, both of whom were serving in the military.
