Scope and ContentPass, two, imprinted North Hudson Yacht Club. No place (Hoboken?), no date, circa 1920s-1950s. Orange heavyweight paper, 2" wide x 1-9/16" high with perforation at top edge indicating this was a stub detached from a ticket. Pass number 57 and 58. Event not known. The club itself is not known as one of the boating or yacht clubs associated with Hoboken. (There is a club of this name in Edgewater, N.J.) Donor Charles Bogert related that his mother, Anna Devosa Bogert, saved these tickets. It is possible that it was for a sporting or related (social or benefit) event held in Hoboken where there were such clubs until the early 1950s, but there was very limited activity in the 20th century by them. Further research is necessary to establish its relevance to Hoboken.
