Blank stock certificate A910 of the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad Company for less than 100 shares common stock, unregistered and unissued, to be issued between 1910 and 1919. 9" high x 12-5/8" wide. The left edge is perforated where there would be a fold-out which is not present.
This company is the original company that created the system now known as the PATH ( Port Authority Trans-Hudson ) system and usually called the "Hudson Tubes." The voting trustees that are listed on the certificate are Felix Warburg, Charles Francis Adams, 2nd and Albert H. Wiggins. Although the dates on the front are "19__", on the reverse the date is "191_" and thus for issue during that decade. Shares were priced at $100 per share.
