The card was mailed June 17, 1908 with a holographic ink inscription on the reverse by a James Mahoney, who was a seemingly proud local resident who wrote to his Pennsylvania correspondent: "Part of our present new ferry house there 3 more slips besides these." The ferries in the slips are "Scandinavia" and "Orange." The "Orange" had its second deck added in 1906 so this image was not made before 1906.
