Identical apartment buildings; attached; rectangular plan; 4 stories plus raised basement; 6 bays; brick façade with decorative diamond and triangle shaped stone ornaments; single and triple 9/1 sash windows except entry bays and casement windows on basement level; flat roof; crenelated parapet; pinnacles on side bays extending from second floor and terminating in pediments along the parapet; keystone brick arches above fourth floor windows on side bays; brick lintels and stone sills; central steel and glass double-door entrance with raised panel stone overdoor, flanking stone pilasters and transom window reading St. Johns Apts; fire escape; stone sill course on second floor; stone water table.
