8" x 10" high print. Photographer not indicated (probably R. Magnus - date in image seems to be his handwriting.) Reverse is blank except for modern (ballpoint) ink note: 1929 Grand St. 4th to 5th east side.
S. Feldman Mineral Waters is at 409, with a street gas pump outside their garage entrance (word gas is just barely seen on it.) A policeman with several men and children are at the right. At the right edge behind this group is a barber pole. Window lettering is "Electric Face Massage."
No. 411 has basement shop with Candy & Cigars lettered on an canvas awning. This residential building has awnings on all windows.
This photo is from an accession group that consists of photographs from Hoboken Police Department records. Discarded in the 1990s, the original documentary purpose of this photo is not stated or apparent.
