In this series of photos, 2011.048.0042 to 2011.048.0059, photo 2011.048.0045 has a 1927 New Jersey automobile license plate which can be read and photo 2011.048.0058 has a poster for an event dated as Saturday, September 24th which corresponds to a Saturday in 1927.
The white line seen started at a stanchion on the southeast corner of 17th and Willow and ran diagonally across Willow to a point north of 17th St. and ending at Lehigh Coal and then going up about four feet on a door. Purpose of the line is not indicated.
While stated in the lower margin as Weehawken, the location was in Hoboken. (Some other views in this series looked toward Weehawken, but none were in that city.)
