The School was established and operated by the First Baptist Church of Hoboken. It was at this location from 1868 to about 1897 when the property was sold to the City of Hoboken. It stood to the west of what was then Public School No. 5. The approximate modern street address for it would have probably been 355 or 357 Second St. The building was demolished and the land used as part of the school playground; it later became a parking lot.
Note the fire hydrant plus street car (or trolley track) on Second Street.
