The view is northwest of the west side of Washington Street with the storefront at the left going to the right of a W.T. Grant department store, 412-414. Beyond it is Baron's Drugstore at 416 Washington St. None of the people are identified.
The post-World War II baby boom was underway as evidenced by the large number of baby carriages (or strollers) seen.
