Notes: 2012.007.0071; text page [1] on wartime restrictions and considerations. THANKS for your cooperation! The railroads are cooperating with the military authorities in the movement of men and materials with the least possible inconvenience to civilian travel. The transportation requirements of Uncle Sam and his armed forces must come first. As a result there will be times when the types of Pullman and coach accommodations desired are not always available, or other inconveniences may arise which might never occur in peace times. We ask that you accept conditions as you find them with patience and understanding. It is our aim to serve all our patrons to the best of our ability and feel confident you will help in every way by following the six point program below, when making your travel plans: * Make Pullman reservations well in advance and cancel them promptly should you change your plans. * Plan your trips as far ahead as possible. * Purchase tickets well in advance. * When through your meal, please leave the diner promptly so that others may be served as soon as possible. * Purchase round-trip tickets. * Schedule your trips in the middle of the week instead of weekend and holiday periods.
