View is east with the cropped print showing three of the four helicopters that landed there on that day. The Governor is at lower center (third person from right) facing the camera. Christie met with Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, other government officials, disaster relief workers and residents. A press conference was held.

Notes: Photographer's 2013 comments: I was walking around looking for interesting things to shot. I just so happened to be walking along the river when a mass of black suvs and state police pulled up and blocked off the pier. I knew from walking along Washington St that media outlets where setting up for a press conference and they expected Gov. Chris Christie. I was one of only a few people down by the pier and I did not see any news camera men. I only had My 35mm lens with me and I was set back far from the action. I decided to shoot anyways and lucky for me I got a few good shots. I did have to crop this one far which led me to convert it to black and what to preserve viewing quality.
