Sepia-tone photos, 3, of a woman posed during two different sittings in studio, Hoboken, n.d., ca. 1918-1930.
Photograph
Sepia-tone photos, three, of a woman posed during two separate studio sessions, Hoboken, no date, circa 1918-1930.
Real photo postcards; 3-3/8" wide x 5-3/8" high; two different papers (see below). Photographer: Norman B. Reznicow, Photo Studio, 453 First St., Hoboken, N.J. (inkstamp on reverse of all). Unused and unposted.
She is not identified; photo postcard 2 has blue pencil holographic notation on reverse: My Mother's sister My Aunt.
Photo postcard 1: AZO stamp block (two triangles up, two down) - general dates 1918-1930.
She is posed standing in a dark dress with a hand on a chair.
Photo postcards 2 and 3: Artura stamp block (relevant dates here, circa 1918-1924).
She is seen in the same studio (note backdrop) wearing a different dress and hair arranged slightly differently. In photo 2 she is standing at a plant stand, a hat placed on it; photo 3, she is seated on a bench.
Except for Jim Hans locating photographer Reznicow in a 1918 City Directory, little has come to light about him. While the date range by photo postcard paper type gives a date range up to 1930, a more likely range is 1918 to 1924.
