While not directly related to Hoboken, this contract serves to illustrate the relationship of the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad (whose eastern rail terminus was in Hoboken) to its ferry service (which serviced Hoboken at both Lackawanna Terminal and 14th Street) and service providers.
The ferry terminals in Manhattan were at West 23rd Street, Christopher Street and Barclay Street.
