Photographer: Mel Kiernan, Hoboken. 1: Arbat Plaza (now known as 5 Marineview Plaza): view of south facade of office building on on north side of First Street between River and Hudson Streets. 2: Arbat Plaza seen from the courtyard of a residential conversion on the south side of First Street, approximately 38 First St. 3: view southwest from the east side of River Street looking at south side of First St. up to Hudson St. Arbat Plaza is to the right. At the corner (left) is Gerrino's Restaurant (Ristorante Gerrino - 25 First St., but listed address was 96 River St.) Note that it is a single story building; a second floor plus a rooftop bar and dining area were built later. Going west on First is 38-48 First Street, residential rehabilitation or conversions in progress.
