Black-and-white copy photos, thirty-eight, of historical photographic views of Hoboken. Formerly belonging to Mel Kiernan of Hoboken. Reverse of most prints have holographic ink text describing view (from the careful and neat nature of the writing, it is attributed it to a female hand.) No source stated for images, but most appear to be from the Historical Picture Collection of the Hoboken Public Library. While reason for creation of this set is unknown, it was possibly for an event related to the 1976 U.S. Bicentennial Celebration or a 1982 festival, Celebration '82, a display of local art along with historical presentations about Hoboken history. All are 3-1/2" x 5" wide double-weight satin finish prints. No processor's markings.
