Folding rule, model 7965F, 72" long open, made by Keuffel & Esser Co. No date, ca. 1950-1960. Wood, painted, with brass tips and hinge hardware; white paint with black numerals and rule markings. Twelve sections, 5/8" wide x 1/8" thick. Closed: 8" long x 5/8" wide x 1-15/16" high. Manufacturer's name, brand and stock number are in red paint on the exterior of the first section on each end; in black on the interior of the same section.
Name and stock / catalog number: K&E Gold Tip Heavy Duty 7965F.
K&E had their main office and factories in Hoboken when this item was made.
