Printed paper, 1-1/4" high x 3-1/2" wide; 1 punch right side; reverse inkstamped as below. Note stub at left, 3/8" wide with perforation (apparently as used, these were staple into books at the left edge and detached as issued.)

SAMP
JUN 30 19
Rand McNally
The year is not inkstamped. This sample is likely from 1956 or 1957. The Erie Railroad, as part of a consolidation of passenger service with the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, began to run trains to and from Lackawanna Terminal in Hoboken starting in 1956 and culminating in their full merger in 1960. See archives 2013.005.0016 for a 1957 handbill regarding some of the changes.
The ferry service was not an Erie Railroad ferry, but the Lackawanna Railroad's ferry service at Hoboken.
