Notes: Archives 2013.040.0001 Text of obituary newspaper notice: The Jersey Journal ¦ Friday, October 23,1998 OBITUARIES Constance Stanton Cooke, led Gold Star Mothers, at 100 Mass for Constance Stanton Cooke, 100, of Hoboken, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Grace Convent Chapel, Hoboken. She died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Home. A lifelong resident of Hoboken, she was a past president of Gold Star Mothers of Hudson County, a founding member of Cerebral Palsy Parents of Hudson County and a member of Our Lady of Grace Rosary Society, Trinity Guild, Foxhill Apartments Association and the Hoboken Historical Association. She worked on the Hoboken piers during World War I. Surviving are a son, Edward; and a grandson, Edward.
