Pasted inside lid at center is a 1-1/2" high x 2-3/4" wide printed paper label: F. Dehmer, Jr., Trunks, Bags & Leather Goods. Harness & Horse Clothing. 114 Washington St., Hoboken. (Not established if this street number is an old or new one.) Wood tray insert. In lower section at back are Venus Pencil packaging labels pasted to lining paper. Venus Pencils were once manufactured in Hoboken.
