Copy 1. Soper became a Keuffel & Esser Hoboken employee in 1966 and was soon transferred to the Salibury Products Plant in Lakeville, Ct.. This wholly-owned division produced slide rules for K&E from ca. 1951 to 1976. It recounts the corporate history of the period including the transfer of Salisbury operations back to Hoboken in 1969 for a brief period that ended in 1970. Useful timeline from 1951 as well as the sale and demise of K&E and its successive corporate owners. Soper provides a detailed history of the manufacture of slides rules in that period with photographs of equipment and materials. small 4to softcover
