Note the hanging brand sign, 'American,' is now an internally lighted sign. The old brand, 'Amoco,' can still be seen in the painted sign on the building wall. Apparently this image and photo 2002.176.0013 were taken at the same time. Note the black mark on the print border and in the image the same banner on the sign pole.
Owned by Joseph Giancaspro, Jr. He was commonly called 'Joe, the Mechanic.'
