Ashtray from Todd Shipyards Corporation, no date, circa 1946-1980. Creamed glazed ceramic, 5-5/8" diameter x 7/8" high; decal in center top, "TODD."
Bottom has decal text "Todd Shipyards Corporation" with listing below of locations: New York, Brooklyn, New Orleans, [Galv]eston, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Cleveland, London.
The number of locations suggests this is from ca. 1946 to 1980. It is not known if this object is actually from Todd's Hoboken operation as there were several Todd facilities considered as New York.
