Markey was Mary Miller Markey, mother of Florence and Madeline Miller, and lived at 716 Bloomfield St., Hoboken. She served in the Red Cross performing services at the U.S. Army Port of Embarkation in Hoboken as well as later at the Admiral Benson Service Club.
