Photograph
Black-and-white photo of Billy Harriot on his first communion standing in front of door to a house on Willow Terrace, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1930 (see below). 2-1/2" wide x 3-9/16" high print. Reverse has a holographic blue pencil partial inscription with identification plus traces of mounting from two different albums pages, blue paper and black paper.
This photo is the exact same size as photo catalog 2002.119.0003 which is definitely dated 1937, but see 2012 information below. The last name on the reverse is obscured by the blue paper remains. He appears to be ca. 8 years old and holding a rosary.
Per email on Nov 21, 2012, Raymond Harriot stated: This would be my uncle Billy (William Edgar Joseph Harriot),youngest child of William E. J. Harriot and Josephine Becker. He was one of 12 children. He was born on 29 September 1921 in Hoboken so the date of the photo is probably closer to 1930. Also, Billy Harriot died on 18 July 1935 at the age of 13. The family lived on Willow Terrace.
