Two-piece printed paper, 3" wide x ca. 4-3/8" high (torn top edge). Serial number.
Intended for pillows that were issued to passengers and could be bought to be taken away. This service was promoted on dining car menus (see archives 2011.005.0056 for a typical menu featuring the service.) No price is stated, but 1968 menu lists the purchase at either forty or fifty cents.
Dating: Erie Lackawanna is printed without the hyphen in the name (starting about 1963-1965) and the name of company is Railroad, which was used until 1968, when it was changed to Railway.
The Dining Car Department was managed from Hoboken.
