Notes: Archives 2013.002.0030 ==== Hoboken CERT EMERGENCY BAG Being prepared is the key for any emergency. Keep a small bag in a dry and safe place for each of your family members. Make sure it's a place easily reachable, not obstructed by any large objects, so it'll be easier to grab 'n go. Re-check your bag every few months so that batteries haven't drained, or water hasn't leaked from your water bottles. And make sure you re-adjust your kit for each season. -Winter socks (if necessary) -Gloves (heavy duty and for warmth) -Hat (for winter and summer) -Extra t-shirt and undergarment 2 hand and foot warmers -Small blankets -AM/FM Radio (preferred is a crank one w/ AA batteries) -Flashlights w/AA batteries, 2 each -PVC "Easy Tear" duct tape, 2" x 10 yards -52 pc. First Aid Kit -Can Opener -Light Sticks, 4 each -Waterproof Matches, 1 box - -Disposable medical gloves, 4 pairs - Leather work gloves w/safety cuff, 2 pairs - Dust Masks, 4 each - Rain ponchos, 4 each - 1.5 gal. collapsible water bag w/ spigot, 2 each - Water packets, USCG approved, 20 each - Wet wipe towelette, 10 packs - Signaling whistles, 2 each - Basic hygiene kits, 4 each - Facial tissues, 2 packets - Toilet tissue, 1 roll - Swiss Army style multifunction knife - Plastic drop cloth - Plastic trash bags, 2 each www.HobokenCERT.org Status: OK Status By: dw Status Date: 2014-10-01
